Conference to Cover Latest Research on Phishing and Other Aspects of Electronic Crime

The IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) will once again participate in the APWG eCrime Researchers Summit (eCRS) as the conference’s sole Technical Sponsor. The eCRS is the world’s only peer-reviewed technical conference dedicated exclusively to electronic crime research.

eCRS will take place from 20 to 21 October 2009 in Tacoma, Wash., USA. The event will include a keynote speech from computer security expert Dr. Gene Spafford, as well as featured sessions on phishing, trojan attacks, business logic attacks, peer-to-peer file-sharing networks, and other aspects on electronic crime.

All papers presented at eCRS will be published by IEEE and made available through the IEEE Xplore digital library.
